Joel was raised in a small town in Pennsylvania where family values, hard work and morality were instilled in him at a young age. Joel earned his bachelors in Business Administration at Mansfield University in Pennsylvania, where he was a four-year starter and captain of the football team, and remained on the Dean’s List for the entirety of his undergraduate experience. After his senior season, he was invited to play in the East Coast Bowl in Petersburg, VA, where he played alongside Division II all-stars from up and down the east coast. He then played professional football overseas in Germany for one season in 2005 before focusing on his legal career.
Subsequently, Joel earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, where he was involved in various workshops and peer groups. Joel worked his way through law school with a weekend job, all the while maintaining a full course load and a 20-hour per week internship.Upon graduation, Joel immediately began working at a prominent personal injury and medical malpractice firm located in downtown Orlando. It was there where Joel gained invaluable experience in tort law, and began honing his aptitude in the practice of personal injury.
From there, Joel was hired as the managing attorney of the personal injury division at a small firm in Orlando, where he earned hundreds of thousands of dollars in settlements for his clients in his short time at the firm.
Joel brings his acumen for personal injury and tort law to the Hogan Frick, where his client-centric approach to the practice of law is already the existing philosophy of the firm.
Joel understands the value of a diligent work ethic, and the lessons learned from his humble beginnings have stayed with him throughout his professional career. Joel brings these core values with him in his legal practice. He prides himself on providing active and attentive legal representation, and feels that all his clients deserve equal consideration in their legal matter, regardless of the size of the account.
Joel is a member of the Florida Bar and Orange County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar and the Trial Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar.
Joel currently lives in Orlando with his wife. He enjoys an active lifestyle, and looks forward to starting a family here in Central Florida.
